Happy or not so happy.. Scratch that.
So, I've been thinking....
Why is it that half the time, we tend to lean towards self destruction?
You didn't just think that's a little drastic, did you? OK, I'll explain.
Let's take all them places where there has been news of bombings lately.
Pardon me when I digress, as I'll be doing a lot of that. so, what exactly or rather,where exactly is all the discord and bad blood coming from? You know something? We are sooooo fixated on the wrong things, so much so that we forget the things we are meant to be focused on.
How else would you explain murdering innocent people? Destroying properties and lives? It is bad enough that the North seems to be 20 light years away from the rest of its brother regions. Now this.
Hmmm..
Let's look inward.
What things can we do to develop ourselves? So,the government seems to be doing nothing, so?
Wait o! Isn't there such a thing as personal development? So because the Federal government isn't doing anything we should let one region be deficit?
When one part of a team looks bad, the whole team looks bad. What happened to setting up infrastructure to boost the region's revenue generation? Isn't it the same Dubai that has the same hot air and deserts yet we see thousands trooping to go lerax abi is it relax there,regardless of the sweltering heat there?
Haba!!! What are we not saying?!!!
And to think we still have areas where one can still find hand operated water pumps, same as the kind one saw in the Mother India movie. Chai!!!
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm all for preserving our heritage and keeping certain areas of our history but freezing time and everyone in it??

Igluglu houses, I understand. They keep the heat out, but isn't that why we have air conditioning systems??
Preserve the items in question, yes. Just don't make one entire region Atlantis, the lost( or in this case, the forgotten) kingdom.
Whatever happened to putting spas, hotels, resorts in place? Make a resort, or villa of some sort ...buildings scattered or not, in one area with world class facilities, malls, and stuff. Showcase what we actually do have.
Making the most of what you have isn't rocket science nah!
So, the area isn't the SouthSouth. Even that area has its down side.
What we really do need is love.
Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.JFK

We reallyyyyyyy do need to take a break from voting in known names that have had a go at things.. This is a country not a spin-the-bottle game with everyone taking turns. Choose innovative ideas and change, not history and empty promises.
