Someone once said that you shouldn't grant people the permission to break your heart or toy with your emotions.

That someone was very wise.

Some humans know they can never be with someone. But they get involved anyways. After all it's for fun. I never asked ABC to feel anything. I didn't promise anything.

Once upon a time ( a veryyyyyy long time) when Cutie was doing his rounds and trying his hands at getting me to see him as more than my sounding board; he told me this and I quote,

'When you eventually fall for someone, you'll fall like a sack of potatoes'

End quote.

We laughed at what he said and each went back to what they did best; him to tirelessly asking her out and she to treating him like her sounding board.
